3rd Bac - Use of ICT for projections

To facilitate the process of estimating the financial projections of income, costs and expenses, the entrepreneur can use computer tools, such as Excel or a reliable software.

In the case of Excel, to make future projections, based on the knowledge of the historical behavior of some variable, the entrepreneur has some options within the section related to statistical functions: one of them is the estimation of data lines. At the time of the financial evaluation of the project, they also have the possibility of using the applications that are within the financial functions, the calculation of the internal rate of return and the net present value.

Excel can also be a support during market research, since within statistical functions the measures of central tendency and dispersion can be calculated from the data on the behavior of the target market.
